DEFENDING PUBLIC LIFE AGAINST CYBER THREATS IS A NATIONAL CHALLENGE WITH PROFOUNDLY LOCAL IMPACTS.
With ransomware attacks consistently on the rise, the task of strengthening the defenses of vulnerable organizations in every corner of the nation seems impossible to take on.
Luckily, there are regional and local innovators building coalitions to provide solutions. No one is alone in this challenge of scaling cyber defense; across the country, communities are rising up to protect the institutions that uphold public life. The UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) is pleased to host the Cyber Civil Defense Summit to welcome the rag-tag community of cyber defenders in one room.
The Summit endeavors to join forces across defenders, academics, volunteers, and public servants to amplify impact and scale defensive services nationwide, with international implications.
