Sponsorship

Join us in June 2025 in Washington, D.C. for the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity’s third annual Cyber Civil Defense Summit

This one-of-a-kind gathering of cyber defenders, academics, and policymakers returns in 2025 with the mission of protecting the most vulnerable public infrastructure against cybersecurity threats. We anticipate an audience of 200+ in-person attendees, expanding on our sold-out success in 2024.

Supported in large part by Craig Newmark Philanthropies and Okta for Good, the 2025 Summit is offering a limited number of exclusive sponsorship opportunities. This allows three industry sponsors to showcase their commitment to enhancing the cyber resilience of civic organizations often overlooked in cybersecurity.

About the Summit

This day-long, in-person event hosts exclusive keynotes and panels by government, industry and civil-society leaders in cyber defense to discuss respective and shared priorities, share insights, and build collaborations for impactful change. The result: an intimate space for cross-sector conversations between academics, volunteers, and policymakers on how we can work together to protect under-resourced vulnerable community organizations like hospitals, cities, school districts, and nonprofits.

The Cyber Civil Defense Summit, held annually since 2023, has featured keynote addresses from top cybersecurity leaders, including CISA Director Jen Easterly, Wendy Nather of Cisco, and Paula Starr, CIO of the Cherokee Nation (read the 2023 and 2024 recaps of the Summit). The conference is a unique opportunity to connect with cyber defenders across industries and get new ideas in front of beltway changemakers.
